A Simple Approach to Fitness and Nutrition for Beginners

Fitness and health can be thought of like a bank account. You make deposits into the fitness "account" by exercising regularly, eating nutritious foods, and managing stress levels. On the other hand, you make withdrawals from your fitness "account" when you indulge in unhealthy habits like junk food or skipping workouts.

Your current bank account is the sum of every deposit you have made and every withdrawal you have made. Likewise, your health and fitness is the sum of every decision you have made in your life to this point. Knowing this, it becomes very simple. Start today to make more deposits into your health than withdrawals.

The thing to remember is that to keep your fitness account full and healthy, you must put more money (energy) into the bank than you take out. In other words, it's important to prioritize a balanced approach to health and wellness, because if your "account" dips too low for too long, it can be hard to recover quickly. There’s no lottery winning when it comes to your health and fitness. So start small and make simple lifestyle changes to increase your fitness savings. You don't have to jump in with both feet all at once! Start by exercising three times a week for 30 minutes each time, or eating more fruits and veggies throughout the day. Or even simpler, start parking at the back of the parking lot or taking stairs when you can. Small changes like these will add up over time and make a big difference in your health and fitness "account".

The key is to prioritize balance and consistency over time. That way, you can keep your fitness account full and healthy for the long run!

You have the power to make healthy changes that will benefit you for a lifetime. Start making more deposits and less withdrawals and you have a great place to start your fitness journey.

So take it one step at a time and don't forget to celebrate all the little wins along the way. Have fun and enjoy the process!
